The Community Foundation of Louisa County recently announced their new Affiliate Director and appointment of two new members to the Board.
The new Affiliate Director has been announced as Lynsey Krusie. Lynsey will provide leadership and support to the local Advisory Board and its committees to build community capital for today and for future generations, serve donors’ needs by providing flexible and cost-effective means to achieve charitable giving goals, and provide a neutral space for collaboration of community improvement initiatives.
Along with this new role, Lynsey will continue to support the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine as their Marketing & Communications Manager. She started at the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine in early 2021 overseeing the granting and scholarship programs.
Previously, Lynsey worked in development at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation and in Athletic Marketing at Iowa Sate University. She is originally from Brooklyn, IA and studied marketing at the University of Northern Iowa.
In addition to the new Affiliate Director, the Community Foundation also appointed two new members to the Board.
New Board members include Ashley Bartenhagen, Social Worker, Great Prairie Area Education Agency and Jesse Register, Industrial Arts Teacher, Louisa-Muscatine School District.

Additional Board members include: Sherry Humphreys, Donna Williams, Lindsey Ford, Kathy Vance, Kara Hammer, and Don Foor
