The Community Foundation of Louisa County awarded $26,000 in scholarships to local students through funds established to support post-secondary education.
Scholarships awarded by each school are as follows:
Columbus Community High School
Irv Meier Memorial Scholarship: Drew Totemeier
Lisle (Doc) and Jeanette Luithly Memorial Scholarship: Jocelyn Hernandez
Wapello High School
Don and Donna Williams Scholarship: Kenadee Helscher, Esban Castilleja, Bonnie Osornio
Edwin R. Hicklin Memorial Scholarship: Rowen Atkinson, Treyton Schulz, Bonnie Osornio, Marissa Castillo
Ray and Evelyn Wemer Education, Human Services, or Agriculture Scholarship: William Parsons
Louisa-Muscatine High School
Andrew C. Hafner Louisa-Muscatine Community School District Scholarship: Hannah Kissel
Bill Bartenhagen Trade School Memorial Scholarship: Wyatt Skidmore
Lori A. Bashore Memorial Scholarship: Taylor Morrison, Jillian Sneddon
Robert and Marilyn Schlutz Future of Agriculture Scholarship: Kennedy Rife, Kallie Kemper, Taylor Morrison, Keely Williams
