$20,900 in Scholarships Awarded to Local Students

The Community Foundation of Louisa County awarded $20,900 in scholarships to local students through funds established to support post-secondary education.

 

Scholarships awarded by each school are as follows:

 

Columbus Community High School

  • Lisle (Doc) and Jeanette Luithly Memorial Scholarship: Giselle Espinoza

 

Wapello High School

  • Don and Donna Williams Scholarship: Kaden Yerington, Jaxon Marshall, Jaden Ecklund, Rachel Hoeg, Carter Ball

  • Edwin R. Hicklin Memorial Scholarship: Jaxon Marshall, Rachel Hoeg, Carter Ball

  • Ray and Evelyn Werner Education, Human Services, or Agriculture Scholarship: Jaden Ecklund

 

Louisa-Muscatine High School

  • Andrew C. Hafner Louisa-Muscatine Community School District Scholarship: Mason Whitcomb

  • Bill Bartenhagen Trade School Memorial Scholarship: Alexander Blair

  • Robert and Marilyn Schlutz Future of Agriculture Scholarship: Emma Lamp, Bailey Runnells, Benjamin Coder, Maxwell Volkl
